Chop Wood, Carry Georgia 11/27 🍑

Hey, Team GA!

I’m laid out from COVID so am going to make this quick.

I wanted to make you aware of two excellent and worthy fundraisers for Georgia that are coming up this week. Being a huge fan of both sponsoring entities—as well as the grassroots organizations for which they’re raising money—I am co-hosting both. Please, come if you can! You don’t have to give any set amount to get a Zoom invite, and in fact for the Tuesday event you don’t have to give anything at all in order to attend.

The events are:

1. On Monday, November 28 at 8pm ET/5pm PT please consider joining Jessica Craven of Chop Wood Carry Water, along with Senate Circle and Markers for Democracy as they host Christine White of the Georgia Alliance for Progress. GAP is working to fund the best grassroots organizations in Georgia—specifically their canvassing programs, which are still woefully underfunded.  You can give here, and please feel free to share the link with friends and family who want to give. Zoom link provided upon donation of any size.

2. On Tuesday, November 29 from 7 – 8pm EST you are invited to a night of comedy and politics hosted by the Movement Voter PAC and featuring ROY WOOD, JR., ALONZO BODDEN, and KEITH PRICE. Sign up if you are looking for some fun and the best way to reach voters of color and youth in Georgia, to ensure they turn out to vote for Raphael Warnock on December 6th. Giving to either of these funds is an excellent way to ensure our win in Georgia, so, if you’ve got any money left to spare, please consider giving some in support of one or both of these events.
