Two things:

First, I want to remind anyone new to this list that one of the easiest ways to help in GA is to write postcards to low-propensity Democratic voters, and Postcards to Swing States still has a lot of postcards to distribute—for free! Minimum order is 200 cards but you have until October to write them. Sign up here.

Also, the SPLC is working in Georgia to overcome voter suppression by calling folks targeted by it and giving them the information they need to vote. It’s incredible work and you’ll be talking to people who are very grateful for the help.

Thanks to the work of so many organizations in Georgia, including people who volunteered with us, the Georgia primaries saw impressive turnout despite blatant, nationally infamous efforts to suppress the vote. The best way to replicate that success is to continue informing voters.

At this event, we will update you on the Georgia primaries and the impact of our efforts. Then, we will train folks for the next round of our virtual volunteering efforts. Phone banking will be available from the start of this event through Sunday, July 24.
