Hey, Georgia champs!

A couple of quick things:

First, the New Yorker just published an article about the critical importance of state legislatures. Although it focusses on Ohio, its message is relevant to all of us working to help win in swing states. I hope you’ll check it out. The TLDR: give money or time to flipping state legislatures! It’ll help Dems up and down the ballot, and it’ll help save democracy!

Second, I have an easy and cool volunteer opportunity to help us win in Georgia: the folks at Working America are sending letters to working class people in key states about kitchen-table issues such as health care, affordable housing, and worker pay. GA is one of their target states!

“Over years of testing, these letters have proven effective at changing the way working people think about their civic engagement, and even who they ultimately vote for, by raising the salience of issues that labor-endorsed candidates win on,” says Working America.
